WARSAW, February 20 /ITAR-TASS/.  Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich has begun meeting the foreign ministers of Poland, Germany and France, Polish Foreign Ministry spokesman Marcin Wojciechowski said.

“The foreign ministers are currently meeting President Yanukovich,” the spokesman said.

Earlier, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said the meeting would be held in another place due to the shooting and explosions near the presidential palace.

Earlier, Agence France Presse (AFP) reported that the foreign ministers had failed to clear the barricades in downtown Kiev.

Well-informed sources said they had to make several attempts to reach the presidential palace.
