IAEA sees no attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities during latest Israeli attack — chief

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told a parliamentary session that the country had targeted "a specific component of Iran's nuclear program" in its recent strike on the country

VIENNA, November 20. /TASS/. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has no information about the presence of nuclear materials at a site in Iran's Parchin that could have been attacked by Israel, the agency's Director General Rafael Grossi said.

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told a parliamentary session that the country had targeted "a specific component of Iran's nuclear program" in its recent strike on the country. According to Axios, the Israeli Air Force attacked an Iranian drone production facility and carried out a "symbolic" strike on a facility in Parchin that has previously been used for nuclear weapons research and development.

"We do not consider this a nuclear facility. We don’t have any information that would confirm the presence of nuclear material there," Grossi said at a press conference in Vienna. He noted that he did not know what information Israel had on the status of the facility.

The IAEA chief also recalled that nuclear facilities should not be targets of attacks.
