LONDON, February 8. /TASS/. UK’s King Charles III held audience with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday, according to footage showed by Sky News.

The monarch and the Ukrainian leader shook hands and exchanged a few phrases, which were inaudible.

Zelensky had already been given an audience at Buckingham Palace in October 2020, when he was received by the current sovereign’s eldest son Prince William and his wife Kate. Queen Elizabeth II refrained from official meetings at the time because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
