Dagestan officers return fire, three men killed — source

MAKHACHKALA, October 28. /TASS/. Security officials in Russia’s North Caucasus republic of Dagestan killed three men who opened fire at them overnight to Wednesday, a source in the republic’s law enforcement agencies has said.

The incident occurred as the security officials attempted to stop a car for checks. "Fire was opened at them from inside the car. Three men in the car were killed by return fire, the car caught fire," the source said.

The killed men have not been yet identified as their bodies have been severely burnt.
