Working for common good unites Russian society — Putin

According to the President, "we are strongly and clearly aware of how much during this period depends on ourselves, on our positive mindset, our desire to support each other in word and deed"

MOSCOW, December 31. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin is convinced that working for the common good has united Russian society.

"The main thing that has always united us is the fate of the fatherland, a deep understanding of the highest significance of the historical stage through which Russia is passing, the large-scale goals that society faces, and the colossal responsibility for the Motherland that each of us feels," Putin said in his New Year's address to the nation.

"We are strongly and clearly aware of how much during this period depends on ourselves, on our positive mindset, our desire to support each other in word and deed," he said.
