MOSCOW, March 13. /TASS/. The Ukrainian army has lost more than 67,000 troops since its incursion into Russia’s borderline Kursk Region, including over 340 personnel over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Thursday.

During the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian army lost more than 340 personnel, two infantry fighting vehicles, three armored personnel carriers, five armored combat vehicles, 17 motor vehicles, four artillery guns, two mortars and two UAV control posts, according to the ministry’s statement.

"Over the period of fighting in the Kursk frontline area, the enemy has lost more than 67,150 troops, 392 tanks, 316 infantry fighting vehicles, 278 armored personnel carriers, 2,196 armored combat vehicles, 2,428 motor vehicles, 549 artillery guns, 52 multiple rocket launchers, including 13 HIMARS and seven MLRS of US manufacture, 26 surface-to-air missile launchers, a self-propelled surface-to-air missile system, 10 transporter-loader vehicles, 120 electronic warfare stations, 16 counterbattery radars, 10 air defense radars," according to the statement.

Moreover, Russian troops inflicted losses on formations of two mechanized brigades, a motorized infantry brigade, an assault brigade, an air assault brigade, two territorial defense brigades and an assault regiment of the Ukrainian army near the settlements of Gogolevka, Goncharovka, Guyevo, Zaoleshenka, Zapselye, Oleshnya, Rubanshchina, Sudzha, the ministry stated adding that one enemy counterattack was repulsed.

Russia’s operational/tactical aircraft and artillery also inflicted losses on enemy’s manpower and equipment near the settlements of Gornal, Oleshnya, Aleksandria, Basovka, Belovody, Varachino, Vodolagi, Zhuravka, Miropolye, Novenkoye, Sadki, Yunakovka and Yablonovka in the Sumy area, the ministry reported.
