MOSCOW, December 5. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin convened a Security Council meeting, for the first time in the last month, to discuss the development of industries that produce dual-use goods.

"Let's talk today about the development of certain industries that produce so-called dual-use goods. This is important both for the economy as a whole and for maintaining and improving the country's defense capability," Putin said in opening remarks.

He then passed the floor to Industry and Trade Minister Anton Alikhanov.
