Russian top security official estimates Latin America's stance toward Russia as reasonable

Nikolay Patrushev noted that Moscow's cooperation with Latin American nations has historically been multidimensional and mutually beneficial

MANAGUA /Nicaragua/, February 28. /TASS/. Latin American countries behave properly towards Moscow despite the unprecedented anti-Russian campaign launched by the Anglo-Saxons, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev told Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

"The vast majority of Latin American states are pursuing a balanced foreign policy line amid the unprecedented aggressive campaign unleashed by the Anglo-Saxons against Russia," he pointed out.

Patrushev noted that Moscow's cooperation with Latin American nations has historically been multidimensional and mutually beneficial. Russia maintains dialogue on the implementation of economic projects, joint countering terrorism, extremism and drug trafficking. There are also some other issues of mutual interest on the agenda, he recalled.

"Developing friendly ties with our colleagues in Latin America and the Caribbean remains one of Moscow’s key priorities," the Security Council secretary added.
