Russia to use potential more broadly to respond to arms supplies to Kiev, Kremlin warns

Vladimir Putin noted that "those who are dragging European countries, including Germany, into another war against Russia, apparently, don’t understand that a modern war against Russia will be completely different for them"

VOLGOGRAD, February 2. /TASS/. Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Thursday clarified President Vladimir Putin’s remarks that Russia has something to respond to the West’s deliveries of new weapons to Ukraine and this can involve not only armor.

"This means that Russia has the potential and as long as new weapons supplied by the collective West appear, Russia will use more fully its available potential to respond during the special military operation," Peskov told reporters.

Speaking at a concert on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Battle of Stalingrad, Putin noted that "those who are dragging European countries, including Germany, into another war against Russia, apparently, don’t understand that a modern war against Russia will be completely different for them."

"We aren’t sending tanks to their borders but we have something to respond with, and it won’t be just about using armored vehicles," the head of state warned.
