MOSCOW, November 17. /TASS/. Russia will insist that Poland should make public the information on who fired the missile that crashed into its territory, Head of Russia’s delegation at military security and arms talks in Vienna Konstantin Gavrilov told the Rossiya-24 TV Channel on Thursday.

"For our part, we will insist that they [in Poland] make public the information on who fired the missile that killed Polish citizens," he said.

A missile crashed in the village of Przewodow in eastern Poland’s Lublin Voivodeship close to the border with Ukraine on November 15, killing two people. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky accused Russia of the missile attack and urged the West to begin to act.

However, Polish President Andrzej Duda said that in the assessment of the republic’s authorities the missile was fired by Ukrainian air defense forces. The US Department of State said that the US administration was certain about the accuracy of the conclusions made by the Polish authorities.

The Russian Foreign Ministry slammed Kiev’s allegations over the incident as "a blatant provocation." According to the data of the Russian Defense Ministry, the missile was fired from a Ukrainian S-300 air defense system.
