Russia, China have high potential for direct investment — ambassador

Chinese ambassador says the current situation is favorable and prospects are wonderful to facilitate direct investments between the regions of Russia and China

SOCHI, May 30. /TASS/. The regions of the People’s Republic of China and the Russian Federation have high potential for direct investment cooperation, Chinese ambassador to Russia Li Hui said at the Russian-Chinese forum on small and mid-sized business on Monday.

"The Chinese and Russian regions have high potential for investment promotion," he said, adding that "as the current situation is favorable and prospects are wonderful the embassy is ready to facilitate direct investments between the regions of Russia and China," he said.

Representatives of Russia’s Krasnodar, Kaluga, Chelyabinsk, Tomsk Regions as well as Kalmykia and Crimea are showcasing the country’s investment potential at the forum.
