Russian exporters interested in supplying beef to Indonesia — watchdog

As soon as pricing is agreed upon with the Indonesian colleagues, shipments will start immediately, Sergey Dankvert said

SIRIUS, May 22. /TASS/. Russian exporters are interested in supplying beef to the Indonesian market, Sergey Dankvert, head of Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor), told reporters on the sidelines of the All-Russian Grain Forum.

"Our task is to open the market, and the exporters' task is to ship. Sometimes we open a market today, but deliveries only begin in three to six months. However, I know our exporters are interested. As soon as pricing is agreed upon with our Indonesian colleagues, I believe shipments will start immediately," Dankvert said.

On May 20, 2026, Rosselkhoznadzor announced that Russia had gained access to the Indonesian market for beef exports.
