KAZAN, May 15. /TASS/. The Russian-Arab Business Council plans to announce the launch of trade and industrial hubs in several more countries at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), Sergey Gorkov, Chairman of the Russian-Arab Business Council, told reporters on the sidelines of the Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum forum.
When asked about the progress of the Eurasian Trade and Industrial Hub in the UAE he replied: "Yes, the hub is developing successfully."
Gorkov noted that the current hub is primarily represented by mid-sized technology companies working with the industrial component of the oil and gas sector.
"We hope to announce the opening of new hubs in other countries at the St. Petersburg Forum (SPIEF). Details are still being finalized - preparations are underway for the signing, but the Russian-Arab Business Council plans to announce their launch in several countries at once," he added.
The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) will be held on June 3-6, 2026.
