Prime Ministers of Russia, Kazakhstan noted interest in further integration

Mikhail Mishustin and Alihan Smailov also underscored importance of ramping up trade and economic cooperation and implementation of joint projects in energy, industry, transport infrastructure, and other areas

MOSCOW, May 2. /TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alihan Smailov, the press service of the Russian Cabinet said on Monday.

"Mikhail Mishustin and Alihan Smailov particularly noted the interest of Russia and Kazakhstan in further deepening of integration in the Eurasian Economic Union," the press service said.

Prime Ministers of the two countries also discussed current issues of Russian-Kazakh interaction and underscored importance of ramping up trade and economic cooperation and implementation of joint projects in energy, industry, transport infrastructure, and other areas.
