BUDAPEST, March 26. /TASS/. Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto has departed for Moscow for talks with Russia’s government officials. The head of the Hungarian foreign ministry has said that he plans to address prospects of settlement of the conflict in Ukraine, as well as issues of bilateral cooperation, including in the energy sector.
"Yesterday the peace talks between the US and Russia reached another landmark, having made the world more secure again. We have already been saying for three years that communication channels should be open. Today’s talks in Moscow will be devoted to issues of peace, energy security, and expansion of economic cooperation," Szijjarto wrote on his Facebook page (Facebook is banned in Russia due to its ownership by Meta, which has been designated as extremist).
