MOSCOW, February 20. /TASS/. Vladimir Zelensky is responsible for a total failure of Kiev's diplomatic work and the deterioration of international relations, Verkhovna Rada deputy Dmitry Razumkov said on air of Ukrainian YouTube channel News Factory.
"What is happening is sending very bad signals to our state. Unfortunately, we also see Ukraine’s utter failure of diplomatic relations in many areas... Zelensky is responsible for this," he said.
Razumkov added that Zelensky's office position towards US President Donald Trump since 2020 "has been, to put it mildly, inept."
The deputy referenced accusations by the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of "pro-Russian propaganda" against Tulsi Gabbard, who is now the director of National Intelligence of the United States. "And we have a lot of such examples," he concluded.
Trump earlier said that Zelensky's approval rating had dropped to 4% and Ukraine needed to hold elections if Kiev wanted to get a seat at the negotiating table on a settlement. In response, Zelensky said that Trump had become a victim of Russian disinformation. On February 19, Trump called Zelensky a dictator for refusing to organize a vote, again pointing to his extremely low ratings.
