BRUSSELS, February 19. /TASS/. Europe’s sanctions lists against Russia would lose their impact if the US decides to lift restrictions set by Washington earlier, the EUobserver web portal said.
"If the US was to cancel its Russia sanctions as part of a Ukraine deal, it would make EU blacklists toothless on their own, although the EU could still hold on to €200 bln of frozen Russian assets," the web portal said.
The next set of anti-Russian sanctions will not include "big Russian oligarchs," the EUobserver noted. According to its information, the EU sanctions package, to be approved next week, will comprise 48 individuals and 35 legal entities.
