UNITED NATIONS, November 10. /TASS/. Healthcare facilities in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank have come under over 250 attacks since October 7, Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said.

"Since the 7th of October, WHO has verified more than 250 attacks on health care in Gaza and the West Bank, in addition to 25 attacks on health care in Israel - hospitals, clinics, patients, ambulances," he said at a UN Security Council meeting dedicated to the Middle East crisis.

"Last week, WHO documented 5 attacks on 5 hospitals in one day. In the past 48 hours alone, four hospitals have been put out of action," he added.
