Russian tennis player Medvedev wins second ATP tournament in a row

He is currently ranked 8th in the ATP World Rankings

TASS, February 25. Russia’s Daniil Medvedev conquered the former World No. 1 of the ATP (the Association of Tennis Professionals) Rankings Andy Murray in the final game of the ATP tournament in Doha on Saturday.

The final score was 6-4, 6-4 in favor of the 27-year-old athlete seeded third. On February 19, Medvedev won the ATP tournament in Rotterdam.

Medvedev is currently ranked 8th in the ATP World Rankings. In 2022, he was the number one ranked tennis player in the world for 16 weeks. Currently, he has 17 ATP victories under his belt. He is also champion of the 2021 US Open and the 2020 ATP Finals.
