Russia ready to work on evacuation of Ukrainians despite today’s disruption — statement

It was underscored that the humanitarian situation in Ukraine is deteriorating rapidly and begins to become catastrophic in scale

MOSCOW, March 5. /TASS/. Russia is ready to continue working on immediate resolution of the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, despite the disruption of today’s evacuation operation, says Russian National Defense Control Center head Colonel General Mikhail Mizintsev.

"Despite all seriousness of consequences of disruption of today’s humanitarian operation, we are ready to keep working patiently and tenaciously and with Ukrainian representatives and international organizations on immediate resolution of the crisis humanitarian situation, he said.

The military official underscored that the humanitarian situation in Ukraine is deteriorating rapidly and begins to become catastrophic in scale.

"The Russian side take every possible measure to stabilize the current situation, horrific for the Ukrainian people, and adheres to its humanitarian obligations, and will continue to do so," Mizintsev said.

He noted that "the collective West and international organizations pretend they do not notice the extremely disastrous state of the people on territories under neo-Nazis’ control.".
