23 Ukrainian army collaborators detained in Kherson region in January

Law enforcement agencies seized more than 50 kilograms of drugs, 27,000 liters of alcohol-containing liquids and 18,471 copies of prohibited extremist literature

GENICHESK, February 6. /TASS/. Twenty-three Ukrainian army collaborators were detained in the Kherson region in January and 627 pieces of weapons were seized, the Russian interior ministry’s regional department said on Monday.

"In January 2023, the Kherson region police exposed and detained 23 people suspected of helping the Ukrainian army as members of sabotage and reconnaissance groups or fire adjusters. The police seized 627 pieces of firearms, about 30,000 bullets, 20 kilograms of explosive substances, 21 explosive devices, 192 grenades," it said.

Apart from that, law enforcement agencies seized more than 50 kilograms of drugs and 27,000 liters of alcohol-containing liquids. As many as 18,471 copies of prohibited extremist literature were seized.
