Ukrainian troops fire 126 shells at DPR communities on Sunday

The Ukrainian army primarily used 155-mm and 152-mm caliber artillery

DONETSK, February 6. /TASS/. Ukrainian troops shelled various populated localities in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) 25 times on Sunday firing 126 units of munitions, the DPR mission at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukrainian war crimes (JCCC) reported on Monday.

"Over the past 24 hours, the mission reported 25 instances of fire on the part of Ukraine’s armed formations. On the Donetsk front, the adversary conducted 10 bombardments, 10 on the Gorlovka front and three on the Yasinovataya front. Some 126 units of various munitions were launched," its statement said.

The Ukrainian army primarily used 155-mm and 152-mm caliber artillery and the use of MLRS was recorded in Volnovakha where five rockets were fired.

Over 24 hours, two civilians have been killed in Donetsk. In all, five civilians have been wounded in Donetsk and Volnovakha.
