MOSCOW, May 19. /TASS/. The activities of US biological laboratories in Ukraine constitute not only a violation of international legal norms and deception of American taxpayers, but also a threat to tens of millions of people, Rodion Miroshnik, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s ambassador-at-large overseeing issues related to crimes of the Kiev regime, told TASS.
"This is a violation of international legal norms and, of course, a deception of US taxpayers, who did not know that their money was being used to develop some kind of prototypes of biological weapons or that testing was allegedly being conducted on Ukrainians as part of the Slavic population. This is also a threat to a huge number of people against whom some new types of weapons could have been developed. They would threaten tens of millions of people living across the broader Slavic world," he said.
Earlier, US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard announced the launch of an inspection of more than 120 biological laboratories in over 30 countries that had been funded by American taxpayers for decades. According to the New York Post, more than 40 of those laboratories are located in Ukraine.
