MOSCOW, March 26. /TASS/. Russia is open to a dialogue with the United States, but seeks a comprehensive discussion of all issues, Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said.

Earlier, Russia’s ambassador to Washington, Anatoly Antonov, said that the Russian embassy in the United States had agreed with US administration officials to discuss bilateral relations next week.

"Our president has repeatedly said that we are open to a dialogue, that we believe it is necessary to discuss all issues comprehensively. You cannot take some issues out of the general context that now dominates our bilateral relations. We are open to a dialogue and have the political will, but we are in favor of a comprehensive discussion of all issues," Peskov said.

As Antonov explained earlier, the upcoming talks will concern "bilateral relations, how we should get along, whether there are any chances at all for Russian-American relations not to be completely ruined." At the same time, the ambassador said that Moscow would not be pestering Washington, if it had no wish to cooperate in the field of security.
