KAZAN, February 22. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin did not undergo the medical examination that pilots are usually subject to prior to going up in an upgraded Tupolev Tu-160M strategic bomber, Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told TASS.

"[This is] not required," he said when asked whether Putin took a physical before the flight like regular crew members usually do.
