US crosses all red lines by threatening countries cooperating with Russia — Lavrov

The US "stops at nothing," including threats against political figures who have US bank accounts and those whose children are studying in US universities, the Minister said

PRETORIA, January 23. /TASS/. Washington is crossing all bounds with its threats to other countries because of their cooperation with Russia, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Monday at a press conference following talks with his South African counterpart Naledi Pandor.

"[The US] publicly states those cooperating with Russia will regret [it]," the Minister said. "The US, and the UK also, are crossing all red lines with their threats and pressure," Lavrov noted.

The US "stops at nothing," including threats against political figures who have US bank accounts and those whose children are studying in US universities, the Minister said.

"They [the US - TASS] threaten major nations representing grand centennial civilizations and ignore that such nations have their national pride," he added.
