MOSCOW, November 29. /TASS/. Head of the Russian Accounts Chamber Alexey Kudrin has tendered his resignation from the post of the head of the supervisory agency to the Russian President.

After public service he would like to focus on large projects connected with the development of private initiatives, Kudrin wrote on his Telegram channel on Tuesday.

"I spent a total of around 25 years in the public sector. Now I would like to focus on large projects that are connected with the development of broadly private initiatives, but have a substantial effect on people. This is why I am leaving my post as the head of the Accounts Chamber, and I have submitted a corresponding application to the president of the Russian Federation in accordance with the established procedure," Kudrin said.

The relevant budget committee of the Federation Council recommends that the upper house of the parliament dismiss Kudrin from his position ahead of time.

First Deputy Chairman of the committee Sergey Ryabukhin told TASS that Russian Presidential Plenipotentiary in the Federation Council Artur Muravyov would report at the meeting of the committee on Tuesday about the president’s proposal to dismiss Kudrin in advance, whereas the Federation Council would consider the issue on Wednesday.
