DONETSK, February 8. /TASS/. The Kiev government troops fired a total of 92 various munitions towards populated areas in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) on Tuesday, the DPR mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes said in the early hours of Wednesday.
"Over the past 24 hours, the mission reported 19 shelling attacks, carried out by Ukrainian armed formations," the mission said on its Telegram channel.
Overall, 92 munitions were fired in the reported period, including rockets fired from Uragan and HIMARS multiple-launch rocket systems. The Ukrainian military also used NATO-standard 155mm artillery shells and Soviet-made 152mm howitzers, as well as 82mm and 120mm mortar rounds.
The fire targeted nine populated areas in the republic: Aleksandrovka, Gorlovka, Donetsk, Zaytsevo, Mayorsk, Makeyevka, Mineralnoye, Novobakhmutovka and Yasinovataya.
Six civilians were injured as a result of those attacks, including one teenager.
