Explosions heard in Ukrainian city of Ochakov — media

In the Nikolaev region did not declare an air alert

KIEV, February 8. /TASS/. Sounds of explosions were heard in the city of Ochakov in southern Ukraine’s Nikolayev Region in the early hours of Wednesday, the Strana news portal reported.

Unlike other Ukrainian regions - namely Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov and Poltava - no air raid alert was issued in the Nikolayev Region on Wednesday.

The head of the Kharkov Region military administration, Oleg Sinegubov said earlier on Wednesday a series of blasts was heard in the area.
