KOSTROMA, November 6. /TASS/. Natalia Belenogova, director of a company that organized the work of the Polygon nightclub in Kostroma, has been arrested following a deadly fire that killed 13 people in the night to Saturday, a TASS correspondent reported from the courtroom on Sunday.
The woman has been arrested for a term of two months, until January 4, 2023. She is suspected of rendering services that violate safety rules and entailed the death of two or more people (part 3, article 238 of the Russian Criminal Code).
The fire broke out in the Polygon nightclub in Kostroma in the small hours on November 5 and consumed an area of 3,500 square meters. According to the latest update, thirteen people died and nine more were injured. A 23-year-olf man suspected of making a shot from a signal pistol inside the club. Several criminal cases have been opened.
