ALMATY, February 3. /TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has stated the country’s top position in Europe and globally in terms of Internet users and accessibility.
"Russia is the first in Europe in terms of the number of citizens having access to the Internet. Last year we were the sixth globally in terms of accessibility of home and mobile connectivity and the tenth in terms of the number of data centers," he said at a plenary session of the forum dubbed ‘Digital Almaty: Digital Partnership in a New Reality’ on Friday.
Moscow has a vision of how the world will transform under the influence of technologies, PM stressed. "We understand how such processes develop, which is why in the EAEU we often initiate digitalization and provide assistance to promising ideas on improving business environment as it will be useful to all of us," he noted.
