Austria now receives 100% of contracted gas supplies from Gazprom — OMV CFO

Reinhard Florey did not detail the exact amount of gas deliveries from Russia in 2022

MOSCOW, February 2. /TASS/. Natural gas deliveries from Gazprom to Austria currently stand at 100% of contracted volumes, Chief Financial Officer of OMV Reinhard Florey said at a press conference.

"We have two contracts on gas supplies with Gazprom, one is for Germany and the other one for Austria. Gazprom is supplying nothing to Germany; the figure is 0% there. Deliveries to Austria have high fluctuations. They temporarily stand at 100% at the moment but they were 30% or even smaller in the past," Florey said.

The top manager of OMV did not detail the exact amount of gas deliveries from Russia in 2022.

OMV said at the turn of last October that Russian gas supplies to Austria had increased to 65% of volumes under the contract against 30% in prior months.
