Danone will exhibit green products at Hainan Expo 2022

HAIKOU, July 24. /TASS/. French multinational food enterprise Danone will present a line of environmentally friendly and healthy products at the 2nd China International Consumer Products Expo, or Hainan Expo 2022, opening next week in China's Hainan province. This was reported by the Hainan International Communication Network (HICN).

Visitors will be able to get acquainted with Danone's latest product packaging technology, which has been developed to reduce carbon emissions, in the French pavilion. In addition, the French brand will present baby formula for infants Aptamil.

The company's stand will also feature a new line of health supplements called Dare to Stride. It is designed for middle-aged and elderly people who are facing "problems of aging and stress," and will allow them to make up for various micronutrient deficiencies in the body.

Danon also intends to present the concept of a water bottle made according to Made From CO2 technology, which involves capturing and recycling carbon dioxide emissions from the atmosphere, its chemical treatment and use for plastic production. According to the developer, this project will draw public attention to environmental problems and various environmental initiatives.

The 2nd China International Consumer Products Expo will be held in Haikou (the administrative center of Hainan province, South China) from July 25 to 30. The total display area this year will amount to 100 thousand square meters, 80 thousand of which will be used by foreign participants. The remaining 20 thousand square meters will house Chinese companies from all regions of the country. Thus, the total area of the exposition increased in comparison with the first exhibition by 20 thousand square meters.

France is the guest of honor at this year's expo with about 50 companies and almost 250 brands from the country set to take part in the exhibition. The French pavilion will present perfume and cosmetics, clothing, food and wine, jewelry and various services. The total area of the French pavilion will be about 3 thousand square meters
