Kalashnikov supplies new Strelok battle outfit

According to the company, the gear comprises Korset Plus armor vest of Br5 protection class and a weight distribution system, additional protection modules, a set of bags, a 30-liter rucksack and a transportation bag

MOSCOW, December 8. /TASS/. The Kalashnikov Company said it had began to supply to the Russian army the Strelok (Shooter) battle gear. Over 25 thousand sets will be handed over to the customer by the end of the year.

"Triada-TKO Company began supplying Strelok combat gear to the customer. It offers a complex solution for individual protection and outfit of the servicemen of the Russian armed forces. By the end of the year, Triada-TKO will delver 25 thousand Strelok battle gear sets to the customer," the Kalashnikov said.

The gear comprises Korset Plus armor vest of Br5 protection class and a weight distribution system, additional protection modules, a set of bags, a 30-liter rucksack and a transportation bag.

The Steel Research Institute of the Kalashnikov produces anti-fragmentation armored elements for Strelok.
