The Gaza ceasefire agreement between the Palestinian movement Hamas and Israel provides for the withdrawal of Israeli troops, the delivery of humanitarian aid to the enclave, and the exchange of Israeli hostages for Palestinian prisoners, according to a statement on Hamas’ official Telegram channel.
"Hamas announces the conclusion of an agreement providing for an end to the war in the Gaza Strip, the withdrawal of occupation forces from the area, the delivery of humanitarian aid, and the exchange of hostages," the statement said.
Hamas thanked Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey for mediating the negotiations and expressed gratitude to US President Donald Trump for his efforts to end the conflict. The movement also called on the US president, along with leaders of Arab and Islamic countries, to ensure Israel implements the agreements.
Finally, Hamas reaffirmed that it will not renounce the national rights of the Palestinian people, including their right to independence and self-determination.
