NATO exercise with Polish, Czech, Slovakian military personnel starts in Georgia

Military police units from NATO countries, organized into a single battalion, are participating in the exercise

TBILISI, September 29. /TASS/. The multinational SHARP LYNX 2026 exercise, involving military personnel from Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Croatia, has started in Georgia at the Georgia-NATO Joint Training and Evaluation Center (JTEC), the press service of the Georgian Defense Ministry reported.

"The goal of the exercise, which is being held as part of the Substantial NATO-Georgia Package (SNGP), is to further improve interoperability, staff organization procedures, coordination, and command and control skills in a multinational environment," the ministry stated.

Military police units from NATO countries, organized into a single battalion, are participating in the exercise. After the exercise, a special commission will evaluate the performance of the Georgian military and their NATO partners, the Georgian ministry specified.
