BERLIN, November 14. /TASS/. Berlin sent ten Leopard 1 A5 tanks, as well as 14 Bandvagn 206 all-terrain vehicles and 16 Zetros trucks, to Ukraine in the past few days, according to an updated list available on the German Defense Ministry’s website.
The list was last updated on November 3.
The new shipment also includes five Warthog tracked all-terrain vehicles, ten Vector reconnaissance drones, 1.4 mln rounds of ammunition, one thousand 155 mm munitions and 10,000 tactical glasses.
The Bild newspaper reported earlier that the German government planned to double military aid to Ukraine from four bln euros to eight bln euros next year. According to the paper, the German Finance Ministry initially budgeted four bln euros for military assistance to Ukraine in 2024 but all the money has been reserved for existing projects and the Defense Ministry has only 120 mln euros left for new ones.
Germany provided about 24 bln euros in military aid to Ukraine in the past year and a half.
