Kiev mayor reports blasts in capital’s left bank

According to preliminary information, the city mayor noted, air defense forces responded

MOSCOW, November 11. /TASS/. Kiev Mayor Vitaly Klichko confirmed blasts in the Ukrainian capital.

"Powerful explosions occurred on Kiev’s left bank," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to preliminary data, air defense forces activated, Klichko said, without elaborating.

At present, air-raid sirens are ringing out in Kiev and surrounding areas as well as the Odessa Region. RBC-Ukraine and other Ukrainian media outlets said that an air raid alert was issued after blasts had been heard.

Also, a plant in the Kiev-controlled part of the Kherson Region on the right bank of the Dnieper River was damaged after an explosion, the head of the regional administration, Alexander Prokuding, said on his Telegram channel.
