MINSK, November 30. /TASS/. Extremist activities noticeably subsided in Belarus as of lately, the chair of the republic’s Investigative Committee Dmitry Gora said in an interview to the Belarus-1 television on Tuesday.
"The activities of extremists have reduced significantly," he said.
"Back in 2020-2021, extremism-related crimes were mostly committed offline, including marches, resistance to police and mass riots" he said. "By now, all such criminal activities have gone online."
Among those crimes, the official mentioned "verbal assaults, threats and false bomb alerts."
"For today, around 70% of extremism-related crimes committed this year have already been solved," Gora added.
