Turkish warplanes attack US center for training Kurdish fighters in Syria — TV

According to the television channel, US military instructors are working in this center

BEIRUT, November 21. /TASS/. Turkish warplanes delivered an airstrike at an US center for training Kurdish fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Syria’s northeastern al-Hasakah governorate, the Beirut-based Al Mayadeen television channel reported on Monday.

According to the television channel, US military instructors are working in this center.

No data about casualties is available.

The United States has been helping the SDF to fight against the Islamic State terrorist group (outlawed in Russia) since 2015. Kurds, who control 27% of the Syrian territory, allowed the US command to set up nine military bases in Syria’s northeastern areas. Four such bases are located near oil fields in the Deir ez-Zor governorate and the other five are located in the al-Hasakah governorate, the country’s breadbasket.
