Belarus tightens security measures in areas bordering Ukraine — interior minister

"We have tightened security measure on the territory of 14 districts in the Brest and Gomel regions," Belarusian Interior Minister Ivan Kubrakov said

MINSK, November 15. /TASS/. Security measures have been tightened in Belarus’ territories bordering Ukraine, Belarusian Interior Minister Ivan Kubrakov said on Monday.

"We have tightened security measure on the territory of 14 districts in the Brest and Gomel regions. Additional special police units have been deployed there," he said in an interview with the Belarus-1 television channel.

"People took the police reinforcement normally. They feel safe," he said.
