Conditions for Ukrainian POWs in Russia comply with international law

Russian Commissioner for Human Rights Tatiana Moskalkova personally made sure that Ukrainian prisoners of war held in Russia are provided with all essentials during her visit to detention facilities

MOSCOW, April 2. /TASS/. The conditions, in which Russia hold voluntarily surrendered Ukrainian servicemen, comply with international law norms, Russian Commissioner for Human Rights Tatiana Moskalkova said during her working trip to Crimea.

"Our country’s accommodation conditions for prisoners of war strictly comply with international law norms," Moskalkova said.

Previously, the media reported that the Commissioner personally made sure that Ukrainian prisoners of war held in Russia are provided with all essentials during her visit to detention facilities.
