Russian national who sent military aircraft parts to Ukraine detained in Crimea — FSB

The detainee was reportedly recruited by representatives of the Ukrainian special services and acting in their interests

MOSCOW, November 24. /TASS/. Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) has detained a Russian citizen in Crimea who was working for Ukraine's special services and sending components for military aircraft to Ukraine, the FSB press office told TASS.

"A Russian citizen was detained in the city of Feodosia on suspicion of committing a crime under Article 275 of the Russian Criminal Code ("High Treason"). Recruited by representatives of the Ukrainian special services and acting in their interests, he searched for Russian military aircraft parts and transported them to Ukraine in exchange for money," the FSB said.

According to investigators, he was taken into custody. An investigation is now underway.
