MOSCOW, November 29. /TASS/. The Russian Prosecutor General’s Office has prepared a procedure and a list of violations allowing to suspend media outlets and terminate licenses, according to a draft order published on the legal information website.
"[We suggest] to approve the attached instruction on the procedure of preparing demands to suspend the activities of a mass media outlet, on the invalidation of a media outlet registration and (or) on terminating a broadcasting license, as well as on the procedure for making decisions to ban (limit) the activities of foreign mass media outlets in the Russian Federation," the text of the document reads.
