Protests plotted in some regions on Unity Day — Safe Internet League

According to Yekaterina Mizulina, the largest number of such appeals has been recorded in Buryatia, Yakutia, Tuva and several other regions

MOSCOW, November 1./TASS/. The Safe Internet League has recorded a large number of extremist calls for protest actions across Russia on Unity Day, which is celebrated on November 4, the league’s director, Yekaterina Mizulina, said on Wednesday.

"A number of protest actions are planned for November 4, fueled from abroad, primarily from the territory of Ukraine. We are promptly working on this information, on these extremist appeals together with law enforcement agencies, the Interior Ministry," said Mizulina, a member of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation.

"Our team is engaged in such monitoring. But we hope that these attempts won’t succeed, and that they will fail to call to the streets a large number of people," she said at a forum of the Civic Chamber.

According to Mizulina, the largest number of such appeals has been recorded in Buryatia, Yakutia, Tuva and several other regions.
