TASS to take part in Global Media Congress in UAE

The event is held under the auspices of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs

MOSCOW, November 2. /TASS/. A delegation of TASS Russian News Agency led by Director General Sergey Mikhaylov will attend the Global Media Congress due to be held on November 15-17, 2022 in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates.

"Throughout its almost 120-year history, TASS has always strived to hold one of the leading positions in the global information system. The agency cooperates with more than 370 foreign media outlets and is a permanent member of international professional associations. Therefore, participation in such a representative congress meets our desire to be an active member of the media market and gives us the opportunity to discuss with our colleagues current issues of development in our industry and present our own projects," said TASS Director General Sergey Mikhaylov.

The Congress will focus on shaping the future of media industry in such areas as broadcasting, content production, technology, equipment and software, as well as social media. At the dedicated exhibition during the Congress, exhibitors will present their most relevant products and services for the creation of quality content and professional development.

The event is held under the auspices of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs. Organizers of the event are ADNEC Group, in partnership with the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
