Russian forces defeat three Ukrainian brigades in Krasny Liman area

Artillery units of the Central Military District also hit three Ukrainian strongholds and more than 30 artillery positions

MOSCOW, December 9. /TASS/. Units of Russia’s Battlegroup Center defeated two brigades of the Ukrainian armed forces and a National Guard brigade in the Krasny Liman area, battlegroup spokesman Alexander Savchuk told TASS.

"Troops from a motorized infantry formation, backed by artillery units, defeated an assault team of the Fifth Brigade of Ukraine’s National Guard in the Serebryansky Forestry area. Aircraft and artillery units hit troops and equipment of the 63rd and 67th mechanized brigades near Chervonaya Dibrova and Grigorovka. The enemy lost up to 290 troops," Savchuk specified.

According to him, artillery units of the Central Military District also hit three Ukrainian strongholds and more than 30 artillery positions.
