MOSCOW, April 3 /TASS/. Moscow's Basmanny Court on Tuesday will decide on the conditions of confinement for Darya Trepova, suspected in the assassination of war correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky, a law enforcement officer told TASS on Monday.
"A request for pre-trial custody of Trepova will come to the Basmanny Court tomorrow," the source said, noting that she will be convoyed from St. Petersburg to Moscow.
Vladlen Tatarsky, whose real name was Maksim Fomin, was killed in a blast at a cafe on Sunday during an event he was hosting. Over 30 people were wounded. According to preliminary data, he was killed by an explosive device hidden in a figurine given to him by Darya Trepova.
The National Anti-Terrorism Committee said that the terrorist act against Tatarsky had been masterminded by Ukraine’s special services. The Investigative Committee re-classified the criminal case as a terror attack.
Tatarsky gained acclaim after the start of the special military operation. He recorded daily videos called ‘Evening Vladlen’ with an analytical insight into the course of the special operation and gave advice to those mobilized.
