LUGANSK, November 4. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military suffered about 70 casualties in battles with forces of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) in the past day, Spokesman for the LPR People’s Militia Ivan Filiponenko reported on Friday.

"In the past 24 hours, the enemy sustained heavy losses in manpower and military equipment as a result of active offensive operations by LPR people’s militia forces. They eliminated up to 70 personnel, three tanks, five armored personnel carriers, three artillery guns, one unmanned aerial vehicle and 19 special motor vehicles," the press office of the LPR people’s militia quoted the spokesman as saying on its Telegram channel.

On November 3, LPR field engineers cleared over seven hectares of track from explosives in the areas of the settlements of Karavan-Solodky and Sychanskoye, Filiponenko said.

"Servicemen of the LPR 2nd army corps transferred humanitarian aid from residents of the city of Azov in the Rostov Region to refugees from liberated territories accommodated in the village of Vesyoloye," the spokesman said.
