US admits to aid for Kiev being commercial project — Russia’s UN mission

According to Dmitry Polyansky, 90% of the funds channeled to Kiev "has been spent in the United States, creating jobs, increasing tax revenues and contributing to rearming the US Army and its allies by recycling outdated military equipment in Ukraine"

UNITED NATIONS, December 12. /TASS/. Washington has acknowledged the cynical truth about military assistance to Ukraine being a commercial project that benefits the United States, Russian First Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations Dmitry Polyansky said.

"To convince US Congressmen of the need to disburse more aid for [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky and his clique, US officials have eventually dropped masks and discarded all irrelevant nonsensical rhetoric about democracy, freedom, human rights and so on. And they finally told the truth of which we warned since the very start, namely that providing military assistance to Ukraine has been a commercial project benefitting the United States," he maintained, addressing a UN Security Council meeting discussing Western weapons supplies to Ukraine.

According to Polyansky, 90% of the funds channeled to Kiev "has been spent in the United States, creating jobs, increasing tax revenues and contributing to rearming the US Army and its allies by recycling outdated military equipment in Ukraine."

"The developments do not provide any benefit or any positive scenario for Ukraine, which turned out to be a bargaining pawn in someone else’s geopolitical game, as we warned," the Russian envoy said.
